Integrity and Transparency Assessment (ITA)
To become a world-class university, integrity and transparency are the priority.
On March 13, 2019, the President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supakorn Pongbangpho, emphasized in the Executive Meeting that University of Phayao would strictly observe the government’s Integrity and Transparency Assessment (ITA) scheme in its administration.
According to the Office of National Anti-Corruption Commission, all government agencies, University of Phayao included, must comply with the following:
1. Transparency
2. Accountability
3. Corruption – Free Index
4. Integrity Culture
5. Work Integrity
More importantly, all of these must be assessed internally and externally. In other words, everyone within University of Phayao and the public outside clearly perceive the ITA University of Phayao embraces.
It is then the responsibility of all faculty, staff, and students to make this humanistic approach realistic and tangible to all stakeholders, within and outside campus alike, so as to uplift UP administration to international standards.
