The School of Science, University of Phayao, congratulates the Biology program students for their outstanding achievement in creating an innovative project that earned them a place among the top 5 teams. The students have also received funding from the National Innovation Agency (NIA) to further develop their innovation, following their success at the Pitching Day event, held under the "Innovation Area Development Project to Support Health-Enhancing Innovation Creation (Regional Level), Northern Region."
The University of Phayao's Biology students, under the team name "Leaf to Life," were selected for their presented innovation, which demonstrated significant potential in the field of health innovation.
The Leaf to Life team comprises Biology program students:
1. Ms. Sasiprapha Kakkaew
2. Ms. Kanchana Chanjee
3. Mr. Pannawit Phaksriwong
The team is advised by Assistant Professor Dr. Siriwat Boonchaisri, a lecturer in the Biology program, and mentored by Ms. Narumon Boonruang, a biologist.
These three students will now participate in the innovation development phase at the Matching Camp in Central Bangkok in June. This camp aims to further develop the projects and select 12 prototype health-enhancing innovations ready for expansion. The program includes 1-on-1 coaching to create, test, and refine the prototypes for optimal real-world application.
This achievement of the Biology students reflects the School of Science, University of Phayao's commitment to promoting and supporting students in developing innovation skills and creating projects that benefit society and communities.
