Labor Skill Standards Testing Center, University of Phayao, Undergoes Annual Evaluation by DSD

On Friday, June 6, 2025, the Labor Skill Standards Testing Center at the University of Phayao (School of Engineering) underwent its annual inspection and assessment by an official evaluation committee from the Department of Skill Development. The Center is an authorized testing institution under the Skill Development Promotion Act B.E. 2545 (2002), certified to conduct national skill standard assessments in the fields of CNC Lathe Machine Operation and CNC Milling Machine Technology.

The purpose of the inspection was to assess the readiness of the Center in terms of facilities, instructional equipment, qualified personnel, and documentation relevant to its training and assessment operations in accordance with national labor skill standards.

The committee conducted an on-site evaluation of the Center's laboratories and training areas, and engaged in discussions with responsible personnel to explore opportunities for further development. The visit aimed to ensure continued compliance with national standards while promoting sustainable improvements in the quality of training and assessment provided by the Center.
