The Student Affairs Division of School of Engineering at the University of Phayao, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Nuttanon Pongpanit, Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Industrial Cooperation Development, organized the “Gear Lab Leadership Development Program” for student leaders. The program targeted leaders from the Student Council, Engineering Music Club, and Engineering Photo Club within the School of Engineering. The initiative aims to promote and support student leaders in cultivating a spirit of volunteerism, leadership qualities, planning skills for activity management, and problem-solving abilities. Furthermore, it seeks to enhance the effectiveness of student leaders within the School of Engineering.
The activities were held from May 17 to 20, 2025, at rooms C201 and C202, Old Main Building, University of Phayao. During the event, senior student council members for the academic year 2024 shared their work experiences with junior members and engaged in discussions to exchange ideas and address common challenges. This was followed by group workshops focused on teamwork techniques. The program was honored to have guest speakers from various faculties at the University of Phayao who contributed their expertise throughout the workshops.
Additionally, participants attended a lecture on first aid and basic emergency response, followed by practical training in basic first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) at the Community Health Practice Laboratory, School of Public Health.
The entire program was organized to prepare student leaders for extracurricular activities, as well as to finalize the activity calendar and work plans for the Student Council, Engineering Music Club, and Engineering Photo Club within the School of Engineering, University of Phayao.
