On 5 June 2026, the School of Business and Communication Arts, University of Phayao, organized the 2026 BCA New Student Parent Meeting at Phukamyao 4 Conference Room (PKY4), Phukamyao Learning Building, University of Phayao. The meeting aimed to enhance understanding among parents and new students regarding the school’s educational management, student support systems, and student development approaches in preparation for the rapidly changing world of the 21st century.
On this occasion, Assistant Professor Dr. Thanthip Kruhoyothin, Dean of the School of Business and Communication Arts, delivered a welcoming address to parents and new students and shared the school’s development direction under the vision: “To be a leading organization in cultivating global entrepreneurs and communicators driven by intelligence and innovation for a sustainable future.” The school places strong emphasis on developing students’ academic knowledge, professional competencies, creativity, communication skills, and adaptability to the dynamic global environment.
During the event, important information was presented regarding the school’s academic programs, career pathways after graduation, student registration procedures, welfare services, student support systems, and student disciplinary regulations. In addition, the school introduced a variety of student development activities designed to strengthen future-oriented competencies, including entrepreneurship, global citizenship, the application of technology and artificial intelligence (AI), creative communication, personality development, and multicultural living skills.
The event also reflected the organization’s core value, “BCA Future Ready,” which aims to cultivate lifelong learners who are adaptable to change, innovative, socially responsible, and capable of applying knowledge to create sustainable value for communities and society.
Furthermore, the school introduced its executives, program chairs, faculty members, support staff, and student leaders in order to foster trust, strengthen relationships, and promote collaboration among the school, parents, and students, all of which are essential foundations for holistic student development.
The organization of this parent meeting also aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, which promotes inclusive and equitable quality education and the development of future-ready skills; SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, through the enhancement of professional and entrepreneurial competencies among students; and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, reflecting collaboration among educational institutions, parents, and stakeholders in jointly developing students into high-quality global citizens for the future.
