School of Business and Communication Arts, University of Phayao Promotes Equality and Diversity through “BCA PRIDE U: A Place…Where We Are Equal”

On 23 June 2026, the School of Business and Communication Arts, University of Phayao, organized the event “BCA PRIDE U: A Place…Where We Are Equal” at the parking area of Phukamyao Building, University of Phayao. The event aimed to create a learning and creative expression space that encourages students to develop their academic abilities, communication skills, teamwork, and pride in their own identities.

 

The opening ceremony was presided over by Asst. Prof. Dr. Tanyatip Kharuhayothin, Dean of the School of Business and Communication Arts, who emphasized the importance of equality, respect for diversity, and providing opportunities for all students to express their potential with pride. The event was also honored by the presence of Associate Professor Dr. Direk Teeraputorn, Vice President for Corporate Communications, and Assistant Professor Suwit Panyawong, Vice President for Environment and Landscape.

The activities included performances by the BCA Band, a cheerleading performance, a student panel discussion, the costume competition “Gathering Courage: This Is How I Dress” under the theme “Fabulous, Fabulous, Fabulous, Fabulous, Fabulous”, and the positive public speaking competition on the topic “What Equality Means to You.”

 

The judging panel consisted of:

 

Mr. Kamolpong Rattanasanguanwong, Associate Dean for Student Experience and Quality Development;

Assistant Professor Dr. Apinyaporn Sopa, Lecturer in Business Management;

Ms. Nawaporn Ketsuwan, Lecturer in Communication Management;

Ms. Kanpitcha Srijai, Media Development and Public Relations Officer, Demonstration School of the University of Phayao; and

Ms. Sirithorn Rodsalap, Public Relations Officer, School of Engineering.

 

Results of the Costume Competition

Champion: Mr. Nattawut Thasa, New Media Communication Program, School of Business and Communication Arts

First Runner-up: Mr. Khonrachit Inrun, New Media Communication Program, School of Business and Communication Arts

Second Runner-up: Ms. Noramon Suwannatha, New Media Communication Program, School of Business and Communication Arts

 

Results of the Positive Public Speaking Competition

Champion: Ms. Kamonnit Muangcharoensuk, School of Education

First Runner-up: Ms. Wilawan Phiubang, Digital Marketing Program, School of Business and Communication Arts

Second Runner-up: Ms. Pathomporn Limpredee, Communication Management Program, School of Business and Communication Arts

Third Runner-up: Ms. Sattanan Mokkaew, Economics Program, School of Business and Communication Arts

Honorable Mentions: Mr. Pornnaphakhun Sutham and Mr. Thanaphat Thongjing, Communication Management Program, School of Business and Communication Arts

 

The event also featured musical performances by DREAMERTRACKS, a cover dance performance by FHAK-K!, and a closing performance by FLAT FIVE BAND, with support from the BCA Ambassadors and the Student Union of the School of Business and Communication Arts.

 

This event reflected the School of Business and Communication Arts’ commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and student development, preparing graduates to become quality citizens who respect differences and live harmoniously in an inclusive society.
