On July 2, 2026, Associate Professor Dr. Ruksit Suttipong, the Dean of the School of Education, University of Phayao, assigned Assistant Professor Dr. Nattawut Sappaso, the Associate Dean for Student Quality Development and Professional Experience, to represent the School of Education at the Teacher Worship Ceremony for the Academic Year 2026. The ceremony was held at Phaya Ngam Mueang Auditorium, University of Phayao, and was presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Pongsbangpho, the President of the University of Phayao, with the participation of the University’s executive administrators, faculty members, and students. The Teacher Worship Ceremony is one of Thailand’s most cherished academic traditions, held to express respect, gratitude, and appreciation toward teachers for their dedication to imparting knowledge and guiding students. The ceremony also serves to preserve Thai cultural heritage while promoting moral values, ethical conduct, and strong relationships between teachers and students.

Following the Teacher Worship Ceremony, the University of Phayao held the “Day of Honor” Certificate Presentation Ceremony 2026, presided over by the University President. During the event, certificates of recognition were presented to Honor Students and individuals who had made outstanding contributions to the University during the 2025 Academic Year. A total of 1,575 recipients were honored in recognition of their achievements and dedication. The ceremony aimed to recognize and celebrate students who demonstrated excellence in academics, co-curricular activities, leadership, and community service, while also honoring individuals whose contributions have significantly supported the University's development. The event served as an important occasion to inspire students, promote a culture of excellence and integrity, and encourage the holistic development of learners. The School of Education proudly supports initiatives that foster academic excellence, ethical values, and student development. This activity is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, reflecting the University's commitment to promoting quality education, responsible citizenship, and strong educational institutions.
