On October 17, 2026, Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Pongbangpho, President of the University of Phayao, assigned the Division of Building and Facilities, led by Mr. Jeerawat Manngan, Director of the Division, together with section heads and division personnel, to represent the University at the wreath-laying ceremony held at the Memorial of Captain Hans Markward Jensen on Phahonyothin Road, Mae Ka Subdistrict, Mueang Phayao District, Phayao Province.
The ceremony was held to pay tribute to the courageous deeds of Captain Hans Markward Jensen and to commemorate his virtues. Police Major General Pongsawat Chaibal, Commander of Phayao Provincial Police, presided over the ceremony, and Police Captain Kritsada Chaichumphu, Inspector (Administration) of Mueang Phayao Police Station, who was assigned to assist at Mae Ka Police Station, read the biography.
Representatives from Mueang Phayao Police Station, Mae Ka Police Station, Phayao Provincial Police, the 34th Military Circle, the 32nd Border Patrol Police Subdivision, and local government agencies also attended the ceremony to pay their respects and commemorate the heroic deeds of Captain Hans Markward Jensen.
