On November 2, 2023, University of Phayao, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Torpong Kreetachat: Dean of School of Energy and Environmental (SEEN), along with Asst. Prof. Dr. Sukthai Pongpattanasiri: Director of the Renewable Energy and Environmental Research Center (REEN), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Saksit Imman: Head of the Unit of Excellence (UOE), Dr. Nopparat Suriyachai and researchers, traveled to meet with Prof. Nobuyuki Azuma: Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Life Science, Hirosaki University (HU), Aomori, Japan.
During this visit, the participants engaged in a signing ceremony to extend their Mutual Exchange Agreement in education and scientific research in the fields of energy and environment. These aims to create an international network collaboration for both universities. The also had an opportunity to visit the HU in other operations.
In the afternoon, The participated in discussions and information exchange with Prof. Tomonori Sonoki from the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. The discussion is to collaborative the research projects and the creation of academic work for an international level, with the potential to advance scientific knowledge and foster international cooperation. It is expected to result in significant academic achievements and contribute to technological innovation in these areas in the near future.
