On April 29, 2025, the School of Education conducted the School of Education’s merit-making ceremony and poured water on administrators and elders for blessings in the year 2025 at the School of Education, University of Phayao by Associate Professor Dr. Ruksit Suttipong, the Dean of the School of Education, was the president of the ceremony, along with administrators, experts, lecturers, supporting staffs, and the School of Education Student Association participated in the activities. It consists of offering given as alms, offering food, and offering dry food and rice to monks, with 8 monks invited to Buddhist chanting. After that, the School of Education’s personnel pour water on the elders to continue the culture, show respect and gratitude in the Thai way, create morale, and bring good fortune to personnel, which is an important characteristic of teachers following the mission of the School of Education in preserving Thai arts, culture, and identity to be proud of in the local area.
