Student Affairs Vice Director Heads to Siberia for Keynote at PlantGen2025 International Conference

Dr. Chatchawan Wongchai, Vice Director of Student Affairs and lecturer in Biology at the Faculty of Science, has been invited to serve as a keynote speaker at PlantGen2025 – the 8th International Scientific Conference on Plant Genetics, Genomics, Bioinformatics, and Biotechnology. The conference will be held from July 2–5, 2025, in Novosibirsk, Siberia, within the Russian Federation.

His keynote presentation, titled “Bioinformatics and Biotechnology Approaches for Plant Physiology Study: Step Forward for Talented Students in SCiUS-UP Program, Phayao-Thailand,” will focus on the use of cutting-edge bioinformatics and biotechnology tools in plant research, while also emphasizing the advancement of gifted students in Thailand’s SCiUS program at the University of Phayao.

This international conference is co-organized by the Institute of Cytology and Genetics, Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and Novosibirsk State University.

The 2025 edition will be hosted at Academpark (Technopark) in Akademgorodok, with additional sessions at the Central Siberian Botanical Garden, SB RAS, located on Nikolaeva Street in Novosibirsk.
