School of Liberal Arts organized the school meeting for the academic year 2023 on Friday, June 2, 2023, from 9:00 to 12:00. The objectives of the meeting were for 1) meeting and discussing with the staff of the School; 2) presenting the strategic plans and operational plans for the fiscal year 2023; 3) development strategies of the School by the Dean, prior to the next strategic planning; 4) reporting the progress of all missions delivered by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Administration, Special Affairs, Student Quality and Assistant Deans involved; and 5) presenting the following awards to commend the academic and supporting staff.
5.1 Award for academic staff with outstanding teaching evaluation in Thai, Chinese, Japanese, French, English Department and General Education courses.
5.2 Award for academic staff with outstanding academic advisors rated by students.
5.3 Award for academic staff with the highest number of international publication in the past 3 years.
5.4 Award for academic staff with the highest number of national publication in the past 3 years.
5.5 Award for academic staff with the highest number of research publication in each Department and for supporting staff with the highest number of publication.
5.6 Award for outstanding academic works based on quality criteria rated by external experts as part of the School Academic Development Project.
5.7 Award for academic staff with outstanding performance in cooperative education.
5.8 Commendation for academic staff who presented academic works for promotion of academic position.
5.9 Commendation for academic staff with qualified teaching evaluation and instructional supporting documents for promotion of academic position.
5.10 Congratulations to academic staff who have been voted for being members of Faculty Senate of the University of Phayao.
5.11 Special gift for staff who accessed electronic documents most often in the DMS system.
In addition, important information was presented including the University Regulation 2020, the announcement of the 2022 undergraduate and graduate curriculum criteria, and the process for applying a Google Scholar account using the university email, and Guidelines for avoiding predatory journals.
