School of Allied Health Sciences led by Division of Transfusion Sciences and Clinical Immunology hosted an event for “On-site Blood Donation” at AHS Hall, AHS UP. The event was co-hosted by Blood Bank Unit of Medical Technology Division, Phayao Hospital.
The event was a part of holistic approaches with Transfusion Sciences II course which was aimed at 3rd year students of Medical Technology. The scheme provided opportunities for participating students to practice and learn about transfusion procedures, approaches, screenings, and post-donation treatment which were useful for students to acquire all these essential skills.
The on-site scheme also provided chances for donors to donate their blood which was finally processed and distributed to all patients needed across the provinces.
