On February 3rd, 2024, Physical Therapy team from AHS UP led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ajchamon Thammachai, Assistant Dean for Academic Services and Community Innovation, hosted community-based PT at Maeka Toke-wark, district health promotion hospital, Maeka subdistrict, Muang Phayao, Phayao Province. On this occasion, Mr. Tawin Wongkantiya, chief of district hospital, has given a welcoming speech followed by Master Achawapimol, principal of Maeka Toke-wark temple. Asst. Prof. Dr.Puttipong Poncumhak, Dean of AHS , attended the event and hail to all attendees.
The main event was run by Dr. Pajaree Manoi, PT, in which 50 villagers from the neighborhood regions participated in the program. The learning activities were curated by Master Achawapimol and Miss Nongkran Yotchusakul, head of the village. 22 staff and 167 students from PT program had joined the event with healthcare services such as performance tests, counselling in PT, home visit and on-bed care PT. The health volunteers at the district health hospital provided support for the event by helping the team to navigate the vicinity.
