                   On July 9th, 2024, Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Pongbangpho, President of the University of Phayao, delivered a welcoming speech at the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between the University of Phayao and Dokkhamtai Hospital, and the University of Phayao and Chiang Kham Hospital. The ceremony was also attended by Dr. Surawat Kulsri, Director of Dokkhamtai Hospital, and Dr. Anan Malairungsakul, Director of Chiang Kham Hospital, along with their respective groups. Associate Professor Dr. Surasak Saokaew, Dean of the School of Pharmacy, was also present at the signing. The event took place at the Special Professor Dr. Monthon Sanguansermsri Conference Room at the University of Phayao Hospital and was attended by the Vice President for University Communications and other administrators of the University of Phayao.


           This cooperation aims to develop pharmaceutical practice resources in terms of both quantity and quality to support the production of pharmacy graduates. It also aims to enhance pharmaceutical care services and improve teaching and learning in accordance with the Doctor of Pharmacy Program (Pharmaceutical Care) at the University of Phayao. Additionally, it supports the development of the health service system, utilizing study and research processes to solve problems appropriately and according to the actual conditions of the area.


           This record signifies the successful academic partnership and collaboration between the University of Phayao's School of Pharmacy and Dokkhamtai Hospital and Chiangkham Hospital. This collaboration includes various aspects such as research and development, academic services, and most importantly, serves as a valuable platform for students to gain practical experience in the field of pharmacy. The main objective of this collaboration is to enhance students' abilities and equip them with necessary skills through hands-on learning, in accordance with the University of Phayao's educational management philosophy: “True Wisdom Springs from Lived Experiences”
