Japanese Language Program, School of Liberal Arts, Hosts “Nihon-sai” Japanese Cultural Festival 2025
On Friday, July 25, 2025, the Japanese Language Program, School of Liberal Arts, University of Phayao, organized the annual Nihon-sai (Japanese Cultural Festival) at the multipurpose area on the 2nd floor of the UB Building. The event was officially opened by Mr. Nattaworn Wongjittratorn, Associate Dean for Student Quality, who delivered welcoming remarks and presided over the opening ceremony.
The festival featured a variety of engaging and lively activities organized by faculty members and students of the Japanese Language Program. Highlights included a traditional Soran dance performance, student showcases, a Japanese singing contest, a cover dance competition, and a cosplay contest—all of which brought great excitement and enjoyment to attendees. Additionally, the event offered numerous booths and cultural exhibitions related to Japanese traditions, allowing participants to explore and experience Japanese culture firsthand.
