School of Liberal Arts Hosts TOEIC Preparation Workshop
On Saturday, July 26, 2025, the English Department, School of Liberal Arts held a workshop titled “TOEIC Test Readiness: Mastering TOEIC with Fun and Confidence” at Room CE11206, Central Education Building, University of Phayao. The event ran from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and featured Mr. Danai Wongsa, also known as “Tutor Minho,” as the guest speaker.
The main objective of the workshop was to prepare English program students for the TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication), a globally recognized standardized test that assesses English listening and reading skills in professional and business contexts. TOEIC scores are often required by employers as part of the job application process, serving as a reliable measure of a candidate’s practical English proficiency.
This initiative was supported by lecturers from the English Department, who actively participated in planning and organizing the event to ensure its success. The workshop not only enhanced students' foundational English skills but also provided valuable strategies to excel in the TOEIC exam.
