The English Department, School of Liberal Arts organized the third activity of the “English for Careers” project titled “Media Translation Skills Development”. The event took place on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 08:00 to 16:00 at the Language Center (Examination Center), Room CE12203, Central Classroom Building, University of Phayao.
The activity featured a lecture on key translation concepts, a hands-on workshop on using AI tools to support translation work, and a quiz competition with prizes based on the practical session.
This initiative aimed to enhance students' translation skills in preparation for future career opportunities. The workshop was led by Dr. Payungsak Kaenchan, a professional translator and lecturer in the English Department, School of Liberal Arts, Mahidol University. The event was officially opened by Dr. Benjaporn Thepseenu, Chair of the Bachelor of Arts in English Department, School of Liberal Arts.
