On Wednesday, August 13, 2025, the School of Science, University of Phayao, led by Dr. Patcharin Tangchaisuriya, Associate Dean for Student Development and Student Relations, along with students from the School of Science Student Club, participated in an activity under the "Science Entrepreneur Incubation Project." This initiative aims to prepare students for the upcoming "1st Community Innovation and Science Market."
The hands-on workshop took place at Pro-Duck Farm Ltd., Part., located in Huai Kaeo sub-district, Phu Kam Yao district, Phayao province. Mr. Pongsant Singkaew (Khun Jo), the owner, generously served as the expert instructor. He shared his knowledge, techniques, and meticulous secrets for making salted duck eggs, a popular local product.
The objective of this activity is to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the production process from start to finish, quality control, product creation, and marketing. These are essential skills for aspiring entrepreneurs. Furthermore, the event strengthens collaboration between the faculty and local businesses, demonstrating how scientific knowledge can be applied to add value to community products.
