On September 12, 2025, the School of Science at the University of Phayao hosted a practical workshop on "First Aid and Basic Life Support" at Room SC4310, Laboratory Building. This event aimed to equip staff with the knowledge and skills needed to handle various emergencies.
A total of 25 staff members, including faculty, scientists, and administrative officers, participated in the training. Dr. Udomsak Tangchaisuriya, an emergency medicine physician, served as the guest lecturer, providing both theoretical knowledge and hands-on practice.
The workshop's primary goal was to enhance participants' skills in basic first aid, victim assistance, and proper cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). The comprehensive training included intensive theory sessions and practical exercises in simulated scenarios, ensuring that all attendees could apply their newfound knowledge effectively in their daily lives, whether in the lab or the office.
The School of Science recognizes the importance of prioritizing the safety of all its personnel, especially in a work environment that may have potential risks. This workshop is a key part of the School's safety policy, ensuring that all staff members are well-prepared and have the necessary skills to respond to any unexpected events.
