On August 28, 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Ruksit Suttipong, the Dean of the School of Education, assigned Assistant Professor Dr. Sunthon Khlai-Um, the Associate Dean for Administration and Student Quality Development, along with Associate Professor Dr. Natthawut Subphaso, the Assistant Dean, and the School of Education Student Association committee for the academic year 2024, participated in the Honor Day 2025 to recognize distinguished students and benefactors at Mueang Phayao, the University of Phayao. It was honored by Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Pongbangpho, the President of the University of Phayao, was the president to opened ceremony and gave the honorary award to distinguished persons who support the university’s activity, as well as awarded certificates of honor to 1,260 distinguished students for the academic year 2024, as a token of appreciation and to encourage everyone.
The objective of this event is to honor and recognize the achievements of students who have demonstrated excellence in various areas, such as bringing recognition to the university, serving as student leaders, and actively participating in extracurricular activities. These include contributions in arts and culture, morality and ethics, health and recreation, volunteerism and community service, as well as academic excellence and life skills. In addition, it is a valuable opportunity to express gratitude to the benefactors who have continuously supported the university’s activities. This aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically: SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
