School of Education and Student Association supported teacher student development at Ban Mae Mae School, Chiang Mai.
On September 13, 2025, Assistant Professor Dr. Natthawut Subphaso, the Assistant Dean, along with Ms. Suneerat Srithon, Mr. Khomthit Chantama, the General Administration Officer, and the School of Education Student Association, conducted the development for teacher students who support the area-based Under the Project on the Development of Student and Alumni Identity for Sustainable Area-Based Development at Ban Mae Mae School, Chiang Mai Province. On this occasion, it was honored by Mrs. Pimnada Peerawichwutikorn, Director of Ban Mae Mae School, together with the teachers and educational personnel. the School of Education Student Association organized a variety of activities, such as promoting morality, ethics, and desirable characteristics among the students of Ban Mae Mae School, constructing a check dam, and donating essential items to the school. This activity aimed to encourage students to gain experience in organizing volunteer school development camps, cultivate public-mindedness, contribute to society, and strengthen positive relationships with educational institutions and local communities. It also sought to instill ideals and the spirit of being a teacher, in line with the University of Phayao’s aspiration: “Wisdom for Community Empowerment.” The initiative is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG 4: Quality Education, by promoting equitable access to quality learning opportunities; SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities; SDG 15: Life on Land, through the sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems; and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
