School of Education won the Bronze prize (Learning Space 2024 competition) for SDGs 2025
On September 18, 2025, Assistant Professor Dr. Watchara Jatuporn, the Associate Dean of Research and Academic Services in Area-based, along with Assistant Professor Dr. Sunthon Khlai-Um, the Associate Dean for Administration and Student Quality Development, Assistant Professor Dr. Numfon Gunma, the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Educational Innovation, Assistant Professor Dr. Natthawut Subphaso, the Assistant Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Lumyai Seehamat, the Head of Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Education Program in Curriculum and Instruction, Dr. Arpapun Pratumthai, Dr. Narissara Suakhlai, the lecturer of the Education program in Educational Measurement and Evaluation, Assistant Professor Dr. Wilawan Somyaron, the lecturer of the Education Program in Educational Technology, supporting staff, and the Community innovators participated in the Pitching Contest for the Learning Space for SDGs 2025 Awards at Muang Phayao Conference Room, University of Phayao. This competition has been held consecutively for the 5th year under the theme “Learning Space for SDGs.” It was honored by Professor Dr. Samur Thanoi, the Vice President of Research and Innovation, who was the president to open the ceremony to promote the creation and development of learning spaces that can generate tangible positive impacts on communities, in alignment with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which serve as one of the key indicators or flagship initiatives of the University. However, the School of Education received the Bronze Award under the theme “Cham Pa Wai Subdistrict Elderly Quality of Life Development and Career Promotion Center: Lifelong Learning Skills to Enhance Elderly Well-being through a Community-Based Approach.” The initiative was implemented in Village No. 7, Ban Bun Rueang, Cham Pa Wai Subdistrict, Mueang District, Phayao Province. This achievement corresponded with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically: SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
