School of Liberal Arts Participates in 2025 Academic Seminar on Student Development
"Student Development in the AI Era: The Future Challenges"
On September 29–30, 2025, the School of Liberal Arts, University of Phayao, represented by Mr. Nattaworn Wongjittratorn, Associate Dean for Student Quality, and Mr. Bulin Yuayuan, Educational Officer, participated in the 2025 Academic Seminar on Student Development under the theme “Student Development in the AI Era: The Future Challenges.” The seminar was organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) and held at Centara Life Government Complex Hotel & Convention Centre, Chaeng Watthana, Bangkok.
The event was officially held by Ms. Waraporn Rungtrakan, Deputy Permanent Secretary of MHESI, who presided over the seminar.
The main objective of the seminar was to promote knowledge sharing and discussion on the transition driven by technology and innovation in the age of Artificial Intelligence. It also aimed to prepare student leaders for the challenges ahead. The seminar featured breakout sessions organized into three main groups:
1. Administrators Group – Policies for Student Development
2. Staff Group – Designing Processes and Tools for Practical Student Development
3. Student Group – Perspectives from Learners on Building a New Learning Culture
Additionally, the event included presentations of innovative projects related to student development in the AI era, highlighting initiatives that support the transformation of Thailand’s higher education system for the future.
