On September 16, 2025, Assistant Professor Dr. Sunthon Khlai-Um, the Associate Dean for Administration and Student Quality Development, along with Assistant Professor Dr. Watchara Jatuporn, the Associate Dean of Research and Academic Services in Area-based, Assistant Professor Dr. Natthawut Subphaso, Assistant Dean, Mr. Wittavas Thiwai, the Head of Planning, and Mrs. Chutimadee Chaibao, the Educator, conducted the activity to establish networks for promoting community and educational institution products/local wisdom in support of the Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) economy at the Cultural and Local Wisdom Learning Center, Dok Khamtai Subdistrict, Phayao. The training participants included members of the Dok Khamtai District community. The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Surasit Pompa, the Director of the Education Division, Dok Khamtai Subdistrict Administrative Organization, and Ms. Janchira Hanpo, Senior Community Development Officer, Dok Khamtai District Community Development Office, who served as guest speakers. They delivered a lecture on “Processing Dok Khamtai into Products (Herbal Soap) for Community Product Development.” The purpose of this activity was to conserve, revive, and transfer local wisdom while preserving the cultural identity of the community. It also aimed to enhance skills, increase community income, and support the Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) economy through waste reduction and efficient resource utilization. This initiative corresponded with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
