School of Liberal Arts Explores Academic Collaboration with Industry Leaders in Chiang Mai
September 25–27, 2025 — A delegation from the School of Liberal Arts, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Khomkrit Tachom, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, visited several prominent businesses in Chiang Mai to explore opportunities for academic collaboration. The delegation also included Dr. Chanapa Duangfai, Associate Dean for Special Affairs; Mr. Nattaworn Wongjittratorn, Associate Dean for Student Quality; Dr. Ittiphol Buayoi, Assistant Dean; and Mr. Sathaporn Thep-udom, Academic Officer.
The visit aimed to strengthen partnerships between academia and industry, focusing on the following key objectives:
1. To establish academic cooperation between the university and business sectors.
2. To discuss the development of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for future collaboration.
3. To explore the creation of short-term (non-degree) programs aimed at upskilling employees of partner organizations and enhancing student learning.
4. To seek internship opportunities for School of Liberal Arts students.
5. To gather industry input on workforce needs, which will help inform curriculum development and better align graduates’ competencies with employer expectations.
During the visit, the delegation met with executives from the following organizations:

This initiative reflects the School's commitment to fostering practical, career-aligned education and building sustainable partnerships that benefit both students and industry.
