On October 4, 2025,School of Engineering, University of Phayao, organized the “Engineering Student Farewell Program” for fourth-year undergraduate students across four disciplines—Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Industrial Engineering—at Room CE07208, New Classroom Building, University of Phayao.
The event was honored by Asst. Prof. Dr. Wassana Naku, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Quality Assurance, who served as the keynote speaker. Her lecture on “Career Readiness and Workplace Adaptation Skills” aimed to strengthen students’ knowledge, understanding, and awareness of industrial safety, as well as to prepare them for the transition from university life to professional practice.
The program was designed to holistically prepare students for entering the workforce through a series of lectures covering diverse topics, including preparation for internships and cooperative and work-integrated education (CWIE), professional etiquette, organizational culture, appropriate workplace attire, report writing and evaluation, professional licensing examinations, job interview techniques, life planning, and the development of positive attitudes for personal and professional growth.
This initiative reflects the School of Engineering’s commitment to cultivating graduates who are well-prepared academically, professionally, and ethically. It underscores the School’s dedication to nurturing competent and responsible engineers who will serve as a driving force in the sustainable development of the nation.
