The Bachelor of Engineering Program in Civil Engineering, School of Engineering, University of Phayao, organized a workshop titled “Entrepreneurial and Financial Management Readiness for Civil Engineers” on September 13, 2025, at Room ICT 1107, and September 20, 2025, at Room CE 05206. The activity aimed to enhance students’ knowledge, understanding, and essential skills in entrepreneurship and personal financial management. The participants included both graduate students and third- and fourth-year undergraduate students from the Civil Engineering Program. This initiative sought to prepare students for effective career entry and long-term professional success.
The event featured Dr. Ausawatap Akartwipart, lecturer from the School of Business Administration and Communication Arts, University of Phayao, who served as the keynote speaker and workshop instructor on the topic “Financial Management for Working Professionals” His session focused on financial planning, saving strategies, investment principles, and systematic debt management, aiming to equip students with practical financial literacy applicable to both personal and professional contexts.
Additionally, Lecturer Burin Buntavong and Lecturer Kamolpong Ratanasanguanvongs, also from the School of Business Administration and Communication Arts, delivered a joint workshop on “Entrepreneurial Readiness” The session emphasized cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset, fostering creative thinking, and developing systematic business planning skills. It highlighted the integration of engineering knowledge with business management principles to promote innovation-driven entrepreneurship among engineering students.
