DeSUP Ensemble from Demonstration School, University of Phayao Wins Silver Medal at The 6th North Eastern Winds International Festival 2025
The Western Music Band of the Demonstration School, University of Phayao — “DeSUP Ensemble” — proudly won a Silver Medal at The 6th North Eastern Winds International Festival 2025, an international wind band competition held in honor of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, The Princess Royal.
The competition aims to provide a platform for musicians from Thailand and abroad to showcase their musical talents and creativity.
The “DeSUP Ensemble” impressed the judges with their outstanding performance, musical precision, and unique artistic expression, earning them this prestigious recognition and bringing pride to the school community.
The ensemble was conducted and trained by Mr. Chonlawit Boonchan, with Mr. Athiphong Sutthathamnuawong and Ms. Thaksaon Chommanop serving as supervisors and coordinators for the students.
This remarkable achievement reflects the dedication, teamwork, and perseverance of both the teachers and students, as well as the strong support from the school’s administration in continuously promoting musical excellence and developing students’ artistic potential to an international level.
