School of Education participated in the evaluation of the 1 Faculty 1 Sustainable Development Goal (SDGs) project at Champa Wai Subdistrict, Phayao
On October 29, 2025, the School of Education, University of Phayao, participated in the evaluation of the 1 Faculty 1 Sustainable Development Goal (SDGs) project at Champa Wai Subdistrict, Phayao and the Reinventing University research project for the fiscal year 2025, at the Cham Pa Wai Subdistrict Elderly Club at the Center for Quality of Life Development and Career Promotion for the Elderly, Cham Pa Wai Subdistrict, Phayao. It was led by Associate Professor Dr. Ruksit Suttipong, the Dean of the School of Education, along with Associate Professor Dr. Sombat Noparuk, the Expert, Assistant Professor Dr. Watchara Jatuporn, the Associate Dean of Research and Academic Services in Area-based, the respondent of project, along with Assistant Professor Dr. Sunthon Khlai-Um, the Associate Dean for Administration and Student Quality Development, Assistant Professor Dr. Numfon Gunma, the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Educational Innovation, Assistant Professor Dr. Natthawut Subphaso, the Assistant Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Kasidit Meeprom, the lecturer of the Education in Educational Administration Program, , Assistant Professor Dr. Wilawan Somyaron, the lecturer of the Education Program in Educational Technology, Dr. Arpapun Pratumthai, Dr. Narissara Suakhlai, the lecturer of the Education program in Educational Measurement and Evaluation, Mr. Wittavas Thiwai, the Head of Planning, and Mrs. Chutimadee Chaibao, the Educator. In this evaluation, the School of Education was honored by Associate Professor Dr. Chatmongkol Suwanpoom, Associate Professor Dr. Jetsada Mingchai, Assistant Professor Dr. Khomsak Phintha, and Dr. Warat Mathayomburut. The presentation of the project outcomes and progress was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Watchara Jatuporn, the Associate Dean of Research and Academic Services in Area-based, who represented the Faculty in reporting the results of the research project for sustainable development titled “Lifelong Learning Skills to Enhance the Well-being of the Elderly through a Community-Based Approach.” The activity aimed to highlight the achievements of the project’s implementation while serving as a platform for knowledge exchange between the working team and the project review committee. This exchange sought to enhance and refine the operational model to ensure sustainability and alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

However, the School of Education’s participation in this project plays a significant role in driving the University of Phayao toward becoming a “University for Sustainable Development.” It also serves as a model for an institution that actively and genuinely engages in community development. The initiative corresponded with the following Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, SDG 4: Quality Education, promoting equal access to quality learning opportunities, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, fostering safe and sustainable settlements, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, strengthening collaboration for sustainable development.
