School of Allied Health Sciences, Conducts Progress Reporting and Evaluation for the Projects “One Faculty, One Sustainable Development Goal (SDG)”

“One Faculty, One Sustainable Development Goal (SDG)” and “Reinventing University”

On October 29, 2025, the School of Allied Health Sciences, University of Phayao, carried out the progress reporting and evaluation session for the projects “One Faculty, One Sustainable Development Goal (SDG)” and “Reinventing University” for the fiscal year 2025. The event took place at Mae Chai Subdistrict Health Promoting Hospital, Mae Chai Subdistrict, Mae Chai District, Phayao Province.

The “One Faculty, One Sustainable Development Goal (SDG)” project, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ajchamon Thammachai, focused on “Health Care Management for Older Adults or Dependent Persons to Promote Physical and Mental Well-being and Prevent Dementia.” Dr. Ajchamon presented the project’s progress and outcomes to the evaluation committee.

Meanwhile, the Reinventing University research project for fiscal year 2025, led by Dr. Chonthicha Kaewjorhor, entitled “Effects of Modified Stepping Exercise on Heart Rate Variability and Cardiopulmonary Fitness in Older Adults with Type 2 Diabetes: A Randomized Controlled Trial,” was also presented to the committee.

The progress and evaluation session was honored by the presence of the evaluation committee comprising Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jetsada Mingchai, Dr. Warat Mathayomburut, Asst. Prof. Dr. Khomsak Pintha, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chatmongkol Suwanpoom.

Both the “One Faculty, One SDG” and “Reinventing University” projects aim to strengthen community capacity through the application of knowledge, technology, and innovation—enhancing community quality of life and well-being in a sustainable manner. These initiatives serve as part of the School’s ongoing effort to become a model unit for participatory community development, in alignment with the University of Phayao’s vision to become a “University for Sustainable Development.”
