On January 12-13, the executive leadership of the University of Phayao, led by the President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supakorn Pongbangpo, and the Faculty of Nursing, led by the Dean, Asst. Prof. Dr. Dao Wiangkum, attended the official Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony with Chang Gung University of Science and Technology (CGUST), Taiwan. Representing CGUST was its President, Dr. Jun-Yu Fan.
This partnership aligns with the university’s internationalization strategy, aiming to elevate its global presence. The primary objective is to foster collaboration between the School of Nursing and CGUST in four key areas: academic management, student development, staff exchange, and joint research.
During the visit, the executive team engaged in strategic planning to translate the agreement into concrete actions, as well as an exchange of teaching strategy regarding Simulation-Based Learning (SBL) and site visits to healthcare facilities. The delegation observed tertiary care operations at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital and primary care services at the Health Center in Toufen, Miaoli County, to study primary health care models.
