School of Liberal Arts Highlights University’s Area-Based Engagement, Advances the SDGs,
and Wins Two Outstanding Awards at the 15th National Academic Conference “Phayao Research”
The School of Liberal Arts, University of Phayao, participated in the 15th National Academic Conference “Phayao Research,” held on 26–27 January 2026 at the 99th Anniversary Building of Phra Ubali Khunupamajarn, University of Phayao. The conference was organized under the theme “SDG Global Connect: Learning from Best Practices,” serving as a platform to connect knowledge, research, and innovation for sustainable local community development in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Researchers from the School of Liberal Arts received the following prestigious awards:
Gold Award in Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
Awarded for the research project on enhancing English language learning among ethnic minority students through an integrated approach combining linguistics and learning sciences. The project also received the Re-inventing University Learning Space Plaque under the Program for the Development of Higher Education Excellence and Advanced Human Capital.
