On January 15, 2026, Associate Professor Dr. Ruksit Suttipong, the Dean of the School of Education, along with administrators, lecturers, and supporting staff, participated in the UP Sport Day & BMI Challenge 2026 at the University of Phayao Stadium. It was honored by Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Pongbangpho, President of the University of Phayao, who opened the ceremony by Mr. Somthop Leksing, Director of the Human Resources Division was presented objectives of the project to emphasized the promotion of physical activity, holistic physical and mental well-being, and campaigns encouraging personnel to reduce, refrain from, and cease alcohol consumption and smoking recognized risk factors to health to enhance the quality of life and overall well-being of University of Phayao personnel.
The annual University personnel sports competition is held regularly each year, with participants divided into four teams represented by colors: blue, yellow, green, and pink. The School of Education was assigned to the pink team, together with the School of Political and Social Sciences, the School of Liberal Arts, the School of Agriculture and Natural Resources, the University of Phayao Demonstration School, the Institute of Learning Innovation, the Human Resources Division, and the Research Administration Division. Competitions were conducted across eight sports disciplines: football, badminton, volleyball, pétanque, athletics, chairball, basketball, and e-sports. The competitions have been ongoing since 15 December 2025. This activity is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goal, particularly SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being.
