Engineering Drives ITA Implementation and No Gift Policy Fostering a Culture of Organizational Transparency

On 2 April 2026, Assistant Professor Dr. Wassana Naku, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Quality Assurance, together with Assistant Professor Dr. Nuttanon Pongpanit, Associate Dean for Student Affairs and Industrial Collaboration, School of Engineering, University of Phayao, led an initiative to provide guidance, enhance understanding, and outline practical approaches for the preparation of performance reports related to the Integrity and Transparency Assessment (ITA) of faculties and units.

This initiative aimed to ensure institutional readiness for data submission to the Legal Affairs Division, in alignment with the operational framework and exemplary guidelines for driving the No Gift Policy for Fiscal Year 2026, as stipulated by the Public Sector Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC). The required documentation includes:

  1. A report on complaints concerning corruption, misconduct, and general grievances involving University of Phayao personnel for Fiscal Year 2025.
  2. A report on the receipt of gifts and benefits in compliance with the No Gift Policy in the course of official duties for Fiscal Year 2025.
  3. A report on the implementation outcomes of activities aimed at enhancing personnel awareness and understanding of the No Gift Policy, including regulatory guidelines on the acceptance of assets or other benefits by ethical standards (e.g., meetings, seminars, or related activities) for Fiscal Year 2026.

In addition, the leadership team mobilized School of Engineering personnel to participate in a campaign walk and symbolic activities to promote ethics, integrity, and transparency in organizational operations. These efforts are aligned with the national framework for the Integrity and Transparency Assessment of public sector agencies and actively support the implementation of the No Gift Policy. The activities were held in the vicinity of Buildings EN 1–2.
