During June 2–4, 2026, the Division of Buildings and Facilities carried out improvements, maintenance, and repairs at the University of Phayao Disaster Coordination Center (the former Mae Ka Sub-district Police Station) in order to prepare the venue to welcome incoming students of the 'Fa Mui Cho, Batch 16' for the 2026 Academic Year, under the 'New Student and Parent Welcome Project for Academic Year 2026', organized by the Student Council in collaboration with the Student Organization, Student Inspectors, and Wiang University of Phayao. Students are scheduled to begin moving into the dormitories from the 4th onwards.
The Division of Buildings and Facilities conducted inspections of public utility systems, including the electrical, air conditioning, and sanitation systems, while repairing any damaged or defective points to ensure full operational readiness. In addition, a housekeeping team carried out cleaning throughout the interior of the building, while the Garden and Landscape team mowed the grass and maintained the surrounding landscape, so that the premises would be clean, orderly, and welcoming for both students and parents.
This preparation reflects the university's ongoing commitment to developing and maintaining its physical environment, encompassing facilities, cleanliness, and safety, in order to support student learning and campus life.
