The Student Affairs Unit, in collaboration with the Engineering Student Association, the Engineering Music Club, and Engineering Photo UP of School of Engineering, University of Phayao, under the leadership of Assistant Professor Dr. Nuttanon Pongpanit Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Industrial Collaboration Development, organized the “EN EXPRESS 2026: Senior Students Volunteer to Assist Freshmen with Move-In Day” initiative on 7 June 2026 at UP DORM, University of Phayao.
The activity was designed to provide assistance and a warm welcome to newly admitted students of the Class of 2026 as they arrived and checked into the university residence halls. Through the collective efforts of student volunteers from the School of Engineering, luggage and personal belongings were transported from designated parking areas to students’ rooms within UP DORM, helping to ease the burden on both freshmen and their parents during the move-in process.
The initiative not only enhanced convenience and efficiency but also created a positive and memorable first impression for incoming students and their families as they became part of the School of Engineering community at the University of Phayao. The enthusiastic participation of senior students reflected the School’s culture of care, support, and mutual respect.
Furthermore, EN EXPRESS 2026 played a significant role in cultivating public-mindedness and volunteerism among students. The activity promoted values such as selflessness, teamwork, social responsibility, and active community engagement. It also served as an important platform for strengthening relationships between senior and junior students, fostering a welcoming environment characterized by warmth, unity, and a strong sense of belonging within the School of Engineering.
