The School of Business and Communication Arts, University of Phayao, joins in mourning the passing of Asst. Prof. Dr. Sunthorn Klai-am. The School paid its respects by sending a funeral wreath, co-hosting the funeral chanting ceremony, and attending the Royal Cremation Ceremony in remembrance of his distinguished contributions and lifelong dedication to education and society.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Sunthorn Klai-am was the former Head of the School of Management and Information Sciences, the former name of the School of Business and Communication Arts, University of Phayao. At the time of his passing, he was serving as a lecturer at the College of Education, University of Phayao.
Led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Thanyathip Kharuhayothin, Dean of the School of Business and Communication Arts, together with the School’s executives, faculty members, and staff, the School joined in expressing its condolences on the passing of Asst. Prof. Dr. Sunthorn Klai-am. On June 11, 2026, the School sent a funeral wreath to express its sympathy and condolences to the bereaved family at Wat Pa Daeng Bunnak, Mueang Phayao District, Phayao Province. On June 14, 2026, the School had the honor of co-hosting the funeral chanting ceremony to dedicate merit and commemorate his life and contributions. Subsequently, on June 15, 2026, the School’s executives, faculty members, and staff attended the Royal Cremation Ceremony at Wat Pa Daeng Bunnak, Mueang Phayao District, Phayao Province, to pay their final respects and bid a heartfelt farewell to Asst. Prof. Dr. Sunthorn Klai-am, with profound sorrow and respect.
