School of Education organized the Graduate Student Orientation Program for the Academic Year 2026
On June 14, 2026, the School of Education, University of Phayao, organized the Graduate Student Orientation Program for Academic Year 2026 at PKY 2 Classroom, Phukamyao Academic Building, University of Phayao. The event was graciously attended by Associate Professor Dr. Raksit Suttiphong, the Dean of the School of Education, together with the School’s executive team, distinguished scholars, program chairs, and faculty members, who warmly welcomed the new graduate students.The orientation program was designed to provide students with essential information regarding academic regulations, university policies, and important guidelines, while preparing them for successful graduate studies and fostering a positive first impression as members of the School of Education, University of Phayao.

On this occasion, Associate Professor Dr. Raksit Suttiphong, Dean of the School of Education; Assistant Professor Dr. Thidawan Unkong, Director of the Chiang Rai Campus; and Associate Professor Dr. Sombat Noprak, Distinguished Scholar in Educational Administration, delivered welcoming remarks and words of encouragement to the new students. They also had the opportunity to meet and interact with students, inspiring them as they embarked on their graduate academic journey. During the program, academic and support personnel were introduced to the students. Ms. Methika Lertpathama, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Lifelong Learning Promotion, provided information on academic management, student services, learning support facilities, and educational resources, including laboratories, instructional materials, library services, and information retrieval systems. In addition, Assistant Professor Dr. Nattawut Sappso, Associate Dean for Student Quality Development and Professional Experience, introduced co-curricular activities and guidelines to develop graduate students' identity and professional characteristics. Assistant Professor Dr. Santi Buranachart, Chair of the Doctor of Philosophy Program in Educational Administration and the Master of Education Program in Educational Administration, introduced faculty members and provided an overview of the Master of Education (M.Ed.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) programs in Educational Administration, including professional practice requirements and educational leadership development.

Regarding academic support services, Ms. Rattikarn Chantarakul, Head of the Student Registration Division, Division of Educational Services, provided information on academic regulations, policies, announcements, and important guidelines relevant to graduate students. Mr. Wichyanon Maneechat, Head of Learning Resource Services at the Library and Learning Center, introduced information resources and research support services. Furthermore, Mr. Ekaphon Photichan, Computer Technical Officer of the School of Education, demonstrated the use of the University of Phayao’s information systems that support learning and student life. The program concluded with relationship-building and student identity enhancement activities led by Associate Professor Dr. Sopa Amnuayrat, Lecturer in Educational Administration. These activities encouraged collaborative learning, strengthened connections between students and faculty members, and fostered a sense of belonging to the School of Education community.

The orientation program aimed to prepare graduate students academically and personally, enabling them to better understand their roles and responsibilities as graduate students while developing their potential to become professional educators, scholars, and educational administrators in the future. This initiative aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education, which promotes equitable access to quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for all.
