On 13–14 June 2026, Assistant Professor Dr. Tanyatip Kharuhayothin, Dean of the School of Business and Communication Arts (BCA), University of Phayao, attended the workshop to review the University of Phayao’s five-year strategic plan (fiscal years 2026–2031), held at The Quarter Chao Phraya by UHG Hotel, Khlong San District, Bangkok. The event brought together distinguished members of the University Council along with the university’s senior executives in full attendance.
The workshop was honored to have Professor Emeritus Attapol Yaisawang, Chairman of the University of Phayao Council, deliver the opening address and a lecture on best practices for conducting higher education administration in accordance with the principles of good governance. The opening report was presented by Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Pongbangpho, President of the University of Phayao, who met with the executives to announce the university’s policies and goals for advancing the institution. The event was further honored by Ms. Worawan Plikamin Deputy Secretary-General of the Office of the National Economic and Social Development Council, who delivered a lecture on “Sustainable Development: Human Capital Development under the Draft 14th National Economic and Social Development Plan.”
The workshop also featured knowledge-sharing activities on advancing the University of Phayao’s Flagship initiatives through an integrated operational framework, as well as the transfer of knowledge from local wisdom into creative products. The event served as an important forum for jointly setting direction and laying the strategic foundations of the university in alignment with a changing context. The School of Business and Communication Arts stands ready to be a key driving force in advancing the vision and mission of the University of Phayao toward sustainable achievement of its goals.
