Engineering Participates in the Coaching EdPEx to 300 Programme Advancing Organisational Management towards Excellence under EdPEx Framework

School of Engineering University of Phayao led by Associate Professor Dr. Nattapong Damrongwiriyanupap, Dean of the School of Engineering, together with Assistant Professor Dr. Wassana Naku, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Quality Assurance, led a delegation of School personnel to participate in the “Coaching EdPEx to 300” programme. The programme was held from 28 to 30 June 2026 at the Horizon Grand Ballroom, Horizon Village Resort and Tweechol Botanic Garden, Chiang Mai Province.

The programme aimed to enhance organisational management capacity towards excellence in accordance with the Education Criteria for Performance Excellence, or EdPEx. This framework serves as a vital guideline for strengthening the management systems of higher education institutions, enabling them to improve quality, enhance operational efficiency, and drive strategic outcomes. The opening ceremony was presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Phongsabangpho, President of the University of Phayao, who also participated in the programme. The event was further honoured by the presence of Associate Professor Dr. Rachapon Santiwarakorn, Dean of the School of Engineering, Khon Kaen University, and an organisational leader recognised with the Leadership Excellence Award 2025, who served as a keynote speaker, sharing knowledge and experiences in organisational development based on the EdPEx framework.

The programme featured lectures and knowledge-sharing sessions focusing on the analysis of the Education Criteria for Performance Excellence, covering Categories 1–6 as well as the Results Category. The sessions addressed key concepts, principles, management processes, and essential strategies and techniques for driving organisations towards the achievement of quality and excellence goals.

The School of Engineering’s participation in this programme reflects its strong commitment to advancing organisational management systems in alignment with the EdPEx framework. This effort aims to enhance the quality of operations, curriculum development, educational management, resource administration, and the generation of outcomes that continuously respond to the needs of learners, personnel, stakeholders, and the broader mission of the University of Phayao.
