School of Engineering University of Phayao, led by Associate Professor Dr. Nattapong Damrongwiriyanupap, Dean of the School of Engineering, together with first-year students, the Student Union, and engineering students who have brought recognition and distinction to the University, participated in the Wai Khru Ceremony for the 2026 Academic Year and the Certificate Presentation Ceremony on the occasion of the University of Phayao Honor Day 2026. The event was organised by the Division of Student Affairs, through the Student Activities and Student Identity Development Section, Student Development Unit, on 2 July 2026 at Phaya Ngam Mueang Auditorium, University of Phayao.
The ceremony was presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Pongbangpho, President of the University of Phayao. The event aimed to provide students with an opportunity to express gratitude and appreciation to their teachers, who have devoted themselves to imparting knowledge, guidance, and wisdom. It also sought to foster students’ awareness of the values of respect, humility, and gratefulness toward teachers—fundamental virtues that contribute to the development of students with moral integrity, ethical awareness, and social responsibility.
In addition, the Certificate Presentation Ceremony on the occasion of the University of Phayao Honor Day 2026 was held to recognise and honour students whose achievements have contributed to the reputation and distinction of the University in various fields. The ceremony served not only to commend students for their dedication, determination, and accomplishments, but also to inspire their peers and promote exemplary role models within the student community.
The participation of the School of Engineering in this event reflects the University’s commitment to holistic student development, encompassing academic excellence, morality, ethics, aesthetic appreciation, personality development, and active engagement in preserving Thailand’s valued cultural traditions.
