SEEN, University of Phayao Hosts Project Proposal Development Workshop for the Environmental Fund to Promote Sustainable Organic Waste Management unde

On 14 July 2026, the School of Energy and Environment (SEEN), University of Phayao, organized a Project Proposal Development Workshop for an application to the Environmental Fund under the project entitled "Sustainable Organic Waste Management in Fresh Markets through an Organic Fertilizer Production System Integrated with Solar Energy Based on the BCG Community Development Model." The proposed project will be submitted for funding support from the Environmental Fund Management Division, Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning (ONEP).

The workshop was officially opened by Asst. Prof. Dr. Anusorn Boonpoke, Dean of the School of Energy and Environment, who welcomed participants and outlined the objectives of the initiative. Representatives from the Environmental Fund Management Division, ONEP, provided recommendations on project proposal preparation and facilitated group workshop sessions to strengthen the quality and feasibility of the proposals.

The event was also attended by representatives from the Environmental and Pollution Control Office Region 2 (Lampang) Office of Natural Resources and Environment Phayao and the Phayao Municipality, who joined discussions and shared their expertise to enhance project development. The workshop aimed to ensure that the proposal aligns with the Environmental Fund's requirements while promoting sustainable management of organic waste in fresh markets through value-added organic fertilizer production integrated with solar energy. The initiative also supports community development in accordance with the Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) Economy Model, contributing to environmental sustainability and local socio-economic development.
