The School of Energy and Environment (SEEN), University of Phayao, participated in the "16 Years of the University of Phayao: 16 Stories Toward Sustainability" exhibition, held on 16–17 July 2026 at the Jellyfish Plaza, behind the Office of the President Building. The exhibition site served as Checkpoint No. 15 among the 16 exhibition stations located across the University campus.
The exhibition was led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Anusorn Boonpoke, Dean of the School of Energy and Environment, together with the School's executives, faculty members, staff, and student representatives, who welcomed Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supakorn Pongbangpho, President of the University of Phayao, university executives, and distinguished guests visiting the exhibition.
SEEN presented a series of interactive learning activities highlighting the University's commitment to sustainability and carbon neutrality. Featured exhibits included the UP Net Zero Strategy Roadmap, demonstrating the University's pathway toward achieving carbon neutrality; a hands-on demonstration of greenhouse gas emission calculations using the Zero Man Zero Carbon application; the interactive activity "Tree of Everyday Carbon Reduction", encouraging participants to share practical ideas for reducing carbon emissions in daily life; and an introduction to the academic services provided by the Renewable Energy and Environment Research Center (REEN), including research, environmental testing, greenhouse gas management, and sustainable energy innovations.
Visitors also received a special eco-friendly souvenir, the "Mystery Vegetable Growing Kit", designed to encourage environmentally responsible lifestyles and sustainable home gardening. The exhibition reflects the School's commitment to promoting sustainability, supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and advancing the University of Phayao's vision of becoming a leading green university with a strong commitment to Net Zero and sustainable development.
