School of Engineering University of Phayao, participated in the 8th Check-in Exhibition Station, located in front of PKY 1 Lecture Hall at the Phukamyao Learning Building, as part of the “16 Inspiring Stories for the 16th Anniversary of the University of Phayao” exhibition. The event was held on 16–17 July 2026 to commemorate the 16th anniversary of the University of Phayao. Designed as a dynamic learning space, the exhibition highlighted the University's achievements, institutional identity, and commitment to excellence through a wide range of engaging activities.
At its exhibition booth, the School of Engineering presented its flagship academic service initiative under the theme “Lao Khaal” (A Story Worth Telling), showcasing a successful model of knowledge integration between engineering expertise and the Kamnan Dech Community Distillery Enterprise in Chun District, Phayao Province. The initiative demonstrated how engineering knowledge, technological innovation, and research-based solutions have been collaboratively applied to enhance local products, increase the value of indigenous wisdom, and strengthen sustainable grassroots economic development.
The exhibition attracted considerable interest from university executives, School members, staff, students, alumni, and visitors, who explored the School's academic service achievements and learned about the project's impact on community development. Participants also joined the University's check-in campaign by collecting commemorative stamps in their UP Passport for a chance to receive a limited-edition "Nong Kham Mok" blind-box plush souvenir, available exclusively to the first 999 participants. The activity created memorable experiences while encouraging community engagement in celebrating the University's 16-year milestone.
