On 24 July 2026, the School of Energy and Environment, University of Phayao, organized a Laboratory Use and Safety Training for third-year students. The training was led by Dr. Wanawan Pragot, Assistant Dean, together with environmental laboratory scientists, who shared essential knowledge and practical guidelines for safe and effective laboratory practices.
The program covered laboratory regulations, chemical management, laboratory safety procedures, emergency response in biological laboratories, proper handling of laboratory glassware, equipment borrowing and return procedures, and appropriate laboratory waste management. The training aimed to enhance students' awareness of laboratory safety, strengthen their practical skills, and prepare them to apply these best practices in their academic studies, research activities, and future professional careers.
