The School of Business and Communication Arts, University of Phayao, extends its congratulations to four faculty members who have been selected to participate in the Hackathon Workshop under the New Breed Graduates Project for the training program entitled "Digital Technology and AI Developer for Modern Enterprise." The workshop was held at the Heritage Chiang Rai Hotel and Convention, Chiang Rai Province, from 25–26 July 2026.
A total of only 41 participants from higher education institutions across Thailand were selected to join the program. Of these, four faculty members from the School of Business and Communication Arts, University of Phayao, were chosen to participate: Associate Professor Dr. Phattar Burarak, Assistant Professor Dr. Napapa Suwannarong, Dr. Peeraya Rattanachanwong, a lecturer in the Bachelor of Communication Arts Program in New Media Communication, and Miss Nammon Sukhumalchan, a lecturer in the Bachelor of Communication Arts Program in Communication Management.
During the program, participants took part in an intensive Hackathon Workshop, working individually to design and develop a website or application in response to real-world organizational challenges. They subsequently presented their solutions through a pitching session before a panel of distinguished experts, receiving constructive feedback to further refine their projects and enhance their practical applicability.
Participation in this program represents a significant opportunity for the faculty members to strengthen their expertise and capabilities in digital technology and artificial intelligence (AI). It also supports the integration of AI knowledge and digital innovation into teaching and learning, research, and academic services, thereby contributing to the development of graduates equipped with competencies that meet the evolving needs of industries and organizations in the digital era.
