On August 21, 2026, the Head of the Utilities and Facilities Section, Division of Building and Facilities, University of Phayao, conducted a site visit to monitor and inspect the improvement of power transmission lines and the installation of electrical transformers for the bridge and road construction project at the Thai Peacock Learning and Conservation Center building. The visit aimed to ensure that operations proceeded according to plan, met engineering standards, and maintained safety for all personnel. The team worked closely with the contractor and site supervisor throughout the process, from the start of operations to completion.
This work required a temporary power outage in certain areas of the university, as previously announced and circulated. This was necessary to allow the work team to carry out the operations smoothly while minimizing the impact on area users as much as possible. Maintaining utility systems is not simply about fixing problems when they arise, but about continuous monitoring, care, and development, ensuring that every area of the university remains safe and ready for use by everyone.
The work was completed and power was successfully restored to the system by 11:40 a.m., allowing the affected areas to resume normal electricity use earlier than originally announced.
The Division of Building and Facilities would like to thank all students, personnel, and area users for their understanding and cooperation during the operation, as well as the contractor and site supervisor for their collaborative efforts in completing the work successfully.
