On August 27, 2026, the Safety and Security Section of the Division of Building and Facilities, University of Phayao, held a meeting to clarify operational guidelines for drivers and heavy machinery operators. The meeting aimed to build knowledge, understanding, and awareness of the importance of complying with safety rules and measures. Mr. Jeerawat Manngan, Director of the Division of Building and Facilities, and Mr. Chalathorn Taweekul, Head of the Safety and Security Section, attended the meeting and outlined the relevant safety requirements and measures for operational work.
The meeting emphasized safe driving and operation of trucks and heavy machinery, pre-use inspection of vehicles and equipment, and proper maintenance to keep them in good working condition. It also covered best practices for machinery operators, along with measures for supervision, monitoring, and evaluation, so that operations are carried out correctly, efficiently, and consistently.
The objectives of the meeting were to raise working standards, reduce risks and the likelihood of accidents, and promote responsibility and discipline in following safety regulations, enabling personnel to perform their duties with confidence and effectively support the university's mission.
