On Sunday, 30 August 2026, the College of Management, University of Phayao, organized the activity “Environmental Management for Sustainable Community Quality of Life” under the Academic Service Project for Developing Management Innovations to Enhance Community Quality of Life. The project was led by Dr. Nuttharin Pariwongkhuntorn and held at Nopparat Phatthanasil School, Soi Bang Kradi 29, Rama II Road, Bangkok.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Assistant Professor Dr. Siriporn Praesri, Acting Associate Dean of the College of Management, University of Phayao. The activity brought together faculty members, teachers, parents, students, and members of the local community, with enthusiastic participation from a large number of attendees.
The activity featured Dr. Sumeth Junsuthonpoj, Acting Vice Dean of the Center for Business Administration and General Education and Head of the Sustainability, Information Technology, Innovation and Research Group, Dusit Thani College, as the guest speaker. Dr. Sumeth shared knowledge and practical approaches to environmental conservation through hands-on learning activities focused on waste segregation and the responsible use of resources. The activities aimed to foster knowledge, awareness, and environmental consciousness among children, youth, and members of the community, while encouraging environmentally responsible practices in everyday life.
